Arlayne Knox Collection, 1899-1900.

The Arlayne Knox Collection consists of one photogaph album with photographs by E.A. Hegg, titled, "Souvenir of Nome, Alaska" and one book titled "On to Manila" by Douglas White. The photograph album depicts the travels of gold miners from the beginning of their journey in Seattle to the gold fields of Nome and the Seward Penisula. Also included are photographs of Eskimos and Laplanders with reindeer, and images of the aftermath of the storms of September, 1900. The book includes photographs of Admiral Dewey's fleet on its way to the Philippines.
